Process & Quality

Manufacturing & Quality

How our wool-blend knitwear is developed, produced, inspected and prepared for shipment.

Quality in knitwear starts with the yarn and continues through every stage until the garment is packed. Below is an overview of the stages involved in producing our wool-blend knitwear. Ask our team for details about how a specific order is handled.

Production Stages

From Yarn to Packed Order

  1. 01

    Yarn & material selection

Choosing wool-blend yarns to match the required composition, hand-feel, colour and end use.

  2. 02

    Knitting & fabric development

Developing the knit structure, gauge and texture — from plain jersey to rib, cable and jacquard.

  3. 03

    Garment construction

Linking, assembling and finishing knitted panels into garments to the agreed measurements.

  4. 04

    Finishing & inspection

Washing, pressing and checking measurements, appearance, seams and labelling against the approved standard.

  5. 05

    Packaging & order preparation

Folding, tagging and packing to buyer requirements, then preparing the order for dispatch.

This is an overview of the knitwear production process. Please ask us which stages apply to your order and how they are carried out.
